Well it was a hard day to day I had to pick between WoW and Vangaurd!? Blame SOE!

Hi,

Well it was a hard day today because I had to pick between picking up Vangaurd or continuing with WoW? I decided after Beta testing Vanguard and doing some research I just couldnt buy it. The game feels rushed out the door. Also its very hard to get info on the game. Im having hard time looking up info on classes and races and the different mechanics in the game. It seems as the info is spread all over the internet on many different sites. Yet why doesnt SONY or Vanguards team have a resource page with indepths info?? Also SONY forcing this game out the door bothers me. That brings me back to the final nail in the coffin... SONY destroyed SWG and treats its customers worse then Blizzard does I must say. This leads me to think why would Vanguard team sign up with SONY??? Just a plain bad decission in my books! So if they are making poor decissions like working with SONY then god knows whats in store in the future for this game? I just cant get that bad taste out of my mouth what was done to SWG!

So in conclusion Im staying with WoW!

    I still feel a glimmer of my former feelings for EA after they took over Origin & how UO was changed - does that mean I have to never do business with Mythic now they are EA Mythic? As time passes you become more open to the idea that might learn from their mistakes. An optimistic take true, but as SoE have so little hand over the actual gameplay for me it seems justified, time will tell.



    Check back in a month or 2 when you've finished the TBC maybe.
