Yea we all know EA sucks, but they are the biggest publisher out there, they have stroke regardless.

key wording in it : 'It is not profitable to publish for the PS3 at this current time'
I've said this before BluRay is just far too expenive to use AND make profit, other companies besides EA have thorght about this two things will happen: 1) More smaller publishers drop from the PS3 2) Less exclusiity will be on the PS3 as to cover the 'cost' of using BluRay tech many games will go multi format. If big titles like Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry cross on formats it's more then likly players will go for the cheaper option in consoles in the short term.
Sony HAVE to find a way for companies to make better profit on the PS3 or for the time being Sony will be losing a lot more.

At that event in the video the games being released on the Wii were already released on PS3 and Xbox360... that was bad... terrible reporting..

The era of exclusivities are coming to an end people. In fact after 2007 I'd be surprised if you found any third party exclusives on the 360 or the PS3. I believe the Wii will always have exclusives as the third parties know that people don't want rehashed PS3 and 360 games on their Wii with lame controls, but the 360 and PS3 exclusives will come from Sony and Microsoft only now, I predict. Its just not profitable to release an exclusive on one system now, especially with the VERY HIGH programming costs of the 360 and PS3.
You simply cannot release a game on PS3, like you could on PS2, and expect it to be a multi million seller. The PS2 was a fluke in selling 100 million+ consoles. It was going up against the Gamecube, which lost all of its hype very early due to a game drought and the Xbox, which was largely an untested platform. Those two things aren't happening this time, and the playing field is MUCH more even.

Its still bad jouranlism... You know why? These reporters Said that EA has divered money away from the PS3 and onto the Wii and Xbox360... and their reasoning for that was because there were 6 xbox360 titles 3 Wii titles and only one ps3 title...
What they DIDN"T say is that those 6 Xbox360 titles are probably all multiplatforms... And the Wii's 3 titles (tiger golf, SSXblur, and ???) Firstly tiger woods golf already came out on the ps3 and xbox360... and blur is Wii specific... I dont know what the other game was but its more than likely multiplatform...
The Xbox360 games they showed (NBA Street, March Madness, Def Jam Icon, Burnout 5 , ??? ???) are all games that will come out on the PS3 at the same time..
So how can you say that EA dropped support of the PS3... in fact of all the nextgen consoles Wii is getting the least amount of support from EA..... This is a fact... even if you take off the 3 games from the ps3 list.. there are still more game support for the PS3 and Xbox360.... then the Wii..
Thats why I say this is bad journalism... Because their reports are just wrong... EA is not dropping support... I emplore you to show me a game that EA has lined up for Wii and Xbox360 and not PS3..

You are just a disillusioned Sony fanboi... You are going to have to come to terms with the demise of the PS3, maybe the PS4 will do better... Cheer up little strapper, it's not the end of the world... Nintendo was also dethroned at one point... Sunrise Sunset, now it is Microsoft's time in the limelight, and they deserve it to, solid product and killer online apps.

Are you saying that EA HAS dropped support for the PS3? hmmm MSN news reported that EA has dropped support for the PS3 because of the lack of PS3 titles being produced and the mass of titles being produced on the Xbox360 and the Wii... I choose to differ...
Do you think i'm disillusioned for thinking that MSN news is full of crap? Or are you just spouting off in an attempt to push my opinion aside?
