What pace do you play at?

There are some people who like to level to 70/60 as fast as possible so they get into high end raids and PVP i guess lol. Mainly though i guess to show or or something, i'm not judging but it's not for me.

I have 2 lvl 60's and i take the game pace very slowly, it's taken me since release and a long time to get them to end level. For example i started my new blood elf 3 days ago and i'm still only level 11, i like to explore and do everything + do my professions and relax with the game. I just don't get how people can say they're bored of the game but they rushed through it.

I do spend alot of time however helping other players, even tho it's no XP gain or anything for me :P it's jsut nice to group and make friends + have a social side of things.

     I have at least 12 chars over 3 servers and my highest one is almost level 18, and the others are level 10 at least, so just play what char type i want wenever i feel like it and i dont feel rushed to get anywere so im okay with what i have.

     Plus i have a life and play after school and such so im not addicted to it even though i might think about it alot but i play other games even if its not for very long so im not rushed to get anywere in WoW.

    before I realized that I would probably never really have fun again and quit my pace was something like this:

    1st 60 - 24 days playtime

    2nd 60 - 18 days playtime

    3rd 60 - 12 days playtime

    4th 60 - 6 days playtime (this is when you know it's gone too far :))

    each char was also 300/300 on their chosen professions... so I didn't even just grind nonstop to go fast...

    Obviously, my first character was by far the most fun, everything I saw and did was brand new to me, by the 4th character I felt like I'd seen everything in the game (I remember getting excited when I heard about an abandoned house you had to swim/run for 25 minutes to get to) so that's when it ended for me :) I got a shot at MC/BWL/AQ40/Naxx and left :)

    Now I post on here nonstop and pray for a beta invite to a new game :)

    Retired from WoW
    Rebellion - 60 Warlock || Kalaa - 60 Warrior
    Littlerebel - 60 Hunter || Albie - 60 Shaman
    Played: Erm, a lot more.

    I have a level 60 rogue and a level 64 Priest.  I play anywhere from 2 - 4 hours a day, and I don't really group that much.  I like the grind/quest/level aspect of WoW because I can do it without having to ask some beefy warrior to get in the mobs way, or ask some silly rogue to backstab my quest mobs.

    As for exploring, enjoying ,helping, it depends.  I've explored around 98% of every zone I quest in due to where they send me on quests.  If I see a mob I am unsure about, I kill it, if I see some PvP objective I like, I do it, etc.  I don't waste time on professions while I level, I merely wait until I am in town to grind them.  I enjoy instancing, but not on a regular basis.

    Also, I often stay away from lower level zones, PuGs, and exploring away from quest goals.  I find it very pointless to wander around.

    I never reached level 60 and frankly don't regret it much.

    The top i reached was 43 i believe with a warrior on rppvp. Now i have started over with a brand new draenei warrior (yep, i love warriors, especially tanking, mob dancing, stance dancing, give me the whole package).

    My pace is usually snail like, i play when both me and my wife can, that is not very often. Lately though, we both have good 2 weeks holiday and we have had nothing else to do, so we have been putting 10 hours a day for the last 3-4 days. we still are only 26 though :D

    Honestly this question is pointless.  Just play at your own pace.  Of course your going to have people who get level 70 way before anyone else and that is they have a lot of free time.  For people who work and have a family and friends play time doesnt come as often.  But that is why WoW is awesome.  There is no need for rushing because there are so many diverse players playing this game.  There will always be friends with your pace and there will always be things for you to do.  Which is nice and relaxing.  So, dont worry about your pace and how slow or fast your leveling.  There is no competition in MMORPGS except pvp lol.  So, just enjoy what you do and take your time. that is what I think anyways
