The purpose of Coire Bal is to maintain a fun online community, in which we all help and support each other. We will destroy the evils of Tolkien's lore, and have fun doing it. Coire Bal is a brotherhood: We must maintain a level of loyalty and friendship. Also a key aspect to the guild is that I personally am very interested in the PvP possibility the LOTRO has. I'm looking for other people who feel the same way about PvP and the potential that the lore carries in it.
We are also going to be a mainly Man/Dwarf race kinship. In my feeling Elves are extremely annoying, and Hobbits...Well, I'm not going to start on them.
The Website is continuely being updated, obviously nightly after launch. After launch it will be with the income of anything new.
Main Rules and Policies:
NO BEGGING.By any means.
NO KILL STEALING. This was a huge problem in other MMORPGs, kill stealing is disgraceful and pathetic.
NO STEALING IN OTHER MEANS. This specifically means items. If someone else needs it more then you, or worked harder for it then you, let them take it.
NO SPAMMING. Another big problem. There is no "spamming" the kinship chat, if something does not concern any members of the kinship specifically, leave it out of chat.
Recruiting Requirments:
Knowledge: You will need to know what the lore of LOTR is past what the movies said. Reading of the Trilogy is required, Silmarilion is optional, though recommended.
Dedication: Full dedication to the kinship is highly valued--once you are a member of The Awakening, leaving for most purposes is disrespectable.
Maturity: All members must maintain a level of maturity past that of those in most other games. This means no "pissy fits, begging, crying, whining or stealing"on any basis.
No cursing, name calling, or otherwise spiteful behavior on the forums please. Leave it out of the website. If you need to tell someone something personal, email them or speak to them in game.Website links are fine, just as long as they dont link you to something stupid or otherwisely un-funny or pointless. ON THE OTHER HAND, BE YOURSELF. Most of these rules apply to more childish people, however, since many players of this game are mature, be yourself. Feel free to post anything (within the rules of respect) on the website and in-game.
