Assuming you have a few hundred bucks to throw around I would definately add another 1Gig RAM and possibly upgrade to a 7950GT(or similar 512mb) graphics card for real smooth play.
  • BUt can i run it fine with what i have?

you should be ok, just won't be able to run it with ALL the bells and whistles going.

You'll be fine. It runs with no problems on much lesser systems. Ram is key  though, you might want two gb. having matched ram is important too, so either get another stick of what you have (if it's a one gb stick) or get two new one gig sticks for about $130... more or less. using different brand/speed ram is problematic. This optimization guide at SilkyVenom is the best by far

You'll be more than fine man. I have:

    Pentium 3.0 ghz,
    1 gig ram
    Geforce 7600GT 256mbs (also)

and my game runs on balance/high with around 20-30fps average.

I have HDR turned off and all, but my draw distance is far, like 22200ish. At times, I can even turn on bloom and get the neat lighting effects. Trust me when I say the game runs good. let me know if you have any other questions, since we have the same setup and all.
