No, you really are a troll and have been for quite some time on these forums. I wouldnt take your advice on anything as your posts are tired and your use of stupid childish words such as vanbois is simply a lame attempt to get a flame fest going. Your the part of the reason that the forums on mmorpg.com have the reputation of being the ghetto of online forums as you lower the value of the entire site.
The OP is using sarcasm to make a valid point. VG is not the 3rd gen MMO it was hyped to be and animations are akin to that found in EQ1 if not early EQ1. If we can't have people come out and state their opinion no matter how sarcastic then this site is just a shame website infested with fanbois and used by MMO companies to hype up their games like the craptastic Dark and Light. If you can't take someone's honest personal opinion without having your feelings hurt then I'd suggest you log off the internet for good. If you don't agree with the OP post a counter argument disproving his opinion and in video game footage.
Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.
I agree with M1sf1t, That is exsactly what forums are for imho. I also played vanguard beta till the end and quite honestly i beleive they released the game way too early. I wont be buying the game. I will how ever wait a year and then see if they have a trial version and see if it has gotten any better but to be honest if they don't have a free trial version by then i wont even bother.
I also think Vanguard can not call itself a 3rd gen mmorpg. I don't see anything in that game that would qualify it as such. My recommendation to anyone thinking of trying vanguard would be if you can afford to waste your money on a game that probably wont be polished for another year then go ahead other wise save your money and let it grow and see where it is then.
Don't get me wrong I was ceering for Vanguard from the moment I heard of it's development and was looking forward to is for a long time. But I am sad to say it was a disappointment to me as are 99% of the mmorpg's I have tried (excludeing EQ1 pre-PoP).
As for the End_of_a_era I don't know their record for posting and the OP wasn't entirely clear to me I do find truth is some of their statements and unless I am misunderstanding I think their opinions on the game are along the same as mine. Just my opinion and thought I would share it, sorry if I may have hurt any of you die hardcore gamers feelings in the process

Problem with people like you era is you post your opinion, an old movie, and then you argue it with your...opinion. You post in the wrong forum also where you know you will get less "vanbois" as you call them. Thankfully most people think for themselves and will try the game on there own. Alot is described from your signature. What is even worse is the majority of people on these forums are calling you a troll and you still argue with them.
