Character Progression Loss

Anyone hear anything else about this? I checked the homepage of VG and no update that I can see of and when I log in still I dont see my character. I know they are working on a patch to fix this right now but does anyone know anything else and how long it will be I want to play!!

Servers coming down in a minute to apply some patch.  Maybe this is your fix.

This will probably be an ongoing issue for atleast a bit, everyone isn't having the same problem. In each case its a little different from what I've seen. I was missing my shoulder plates suddenly at one point, then I was shown unguilded  . I relogged and came back guilded but a good amount of xp was lost and some quest items had been re-inserted back into my inventory but I no longer had the quest.

Sht   happens I'm not too worried about it, still having a great time.

Ouch.. I didn't see the message about them coming down.  Hope I don't loose too much this time and yes this could be the patch to fix this problem.  They did say the next patch would fix this.

Lemme clear this up real quick.

 

There is no actual loss, just the server is saving character data at an extremely slow rate.

On my Psi I logged out  at one point and appeared way back at the broker when I logged in.



So... I said crap and started getting my char back up to speed... but I had a minor prob (my pc sucks mind you) so I relogged and BAM... I appeared in the point where I had originally logged off before I appeared at the broker.



But once I got in I died from the mobs... did a quick and dirty res and ran back with my group.



Now for the funny part... later on I was running thru an area and I died...

I could not recover my corpse at the time so I logged for about 5 - 10min... came back... bam I was back at another point with all of my stats before my loss.



Then sometime thru that someone saw my corpse from my screwed char and ressed me... I got about 300 free xp.



In the end... (for today) the server was having saving issues and the patch they are applying now should resolve it.

Well I went from level 7 to level 5, after I logged  in.  After this I was pissed, however its only takes like 30 mins to get that exp back.  Havn't gotten any exp back that I know of.  Now I am level 13 and enjoying every second of vanguard.

I lost my Chat Server connection about an hour before the world connections failed, so, had no idea the servers were coming down
