I've been ranting about the garbage game companies have been putting out and have heard that this WAS to be the way a game is developed until for one reason or another, they lost their backing and their new backers pushed them to release?



Thoughts?



Also, any reason why you can't get a video on the website to run?  I tried both IE and firefox to launch them from.  Is this an attempt to censor the pre release jitters or?



I need info.  I've read many posts in here and really haven't heard much from people that tested this and plan on making it their new home.



How does it compare to WoW or if anyone remembers, AC?



Any attempts to offer a free trial in the works that anyone knows of?

Its a better game than WOW by far, but i do not like wow so thats kinda biased. Its a level base grind...quest and kill stuff for xp. Crafting is pretty cool. but its a secondary profession so everyone gets it. Only the best loot from raiding i beleive will be better than crafted.

 you'll need a nice computer to run it..but pretty good graphics. Huge ass seemless world for the explorers. Combat is pretty much standard MMO stuff. Quest are standard MMO..some are really well done though. Diplomacy is kinda fun to learn..didnt mess with it too much. Resource harvesting..wood=chop a tree down , ore=mine an ore vein..the usual.

 Has the potential to be a great game. Its releasing too early. But, By the time you level up the game will probably start getting really good, and the performance should be alot better.  IF, they can stick with it. Devs seem to give a shit about their game. and play it too. So thats good.

Its a good game..you could say its like WOW, or swg, or eq..its gotta alot or is supposed to be getting alot of features that people like from those games.

there are other great things, and some issues too. others will tell you more im sure.

 

there are vids on youtube if your just looking to see game play..or at least there was.
