So I hear that Vanguard - Saga of Heroes is launching today...great, I'll go to their website and check it out.



Are you kidding me? Half the content on the site is "coming soon" and the rest, like the FAQ (which contains, oh I don't know, important things like monthly fee costs, etc.) hasn't been update since 2004! And it even suggests that you instead go to other fan sites to get information. If I owned a company, I sure wouldn't point my customers to third party websites that I have no control over to get information.



It all seems rather amateur to me.



Anyway, I hear the game is fun. Lets hope they put all their resources into that instead of their web site, otherwise they are in trouble.

So when I go to the Vanguard game page here at mmorpg.com, and it lists the official website as:



http://www.vanguardsoh.com



I'm supposed to magically know that its really NOT that site, but a different one?



Exactly how much more "research" should I have done smart guy?

Vanguardsoh is sigils site.

joinvangaurd is SOE's site with no forums.

Regardless, if you type "vanguard saga of heroes" into Google, the first hit is to www.vanguardsoh.com and that is where most people will go.



The SOE site is very nice. The Sigil site sucks.
