you definately show your maturity here. i'm a father to be and in the next six months my girlfriend having our child is the thing i look forward to the most, hands down. you'll change your mind once you have a kid on the way.

This (of course) is all off topic as far as gaming..

However, an observation from my own personal standpoint.  If you do miss the birth of your child or children, you'll have missed one of the most rewarding and heart-wrenching experiences of your life.

I was there for all of my three children.  Would'nt have missed it for the world.  The good AND the bad.

And yes...this guy on the interview was an idiot.  RL >> a game

The joke really is on the wife after that show. Sure, they destroyed the disks to the game, but you don't need the disks to run it. So if it's still on his computer, they accomplished nothing.



I'd laugh if they came back on the show after getting home and realizing he could still play it. No wonder he was so happy and submissive on the show.

I'd pick WoW over a newborn too. Do you know how much money babies cost? And how big of a pain in the ass they are?



WoW is 14.99 a month for unlimited entertainment plus you can turn it off when you don't want it anymore. I'm not an addict btw, I'd gladly pick sex and/or my girlfriend over WoW, just not a baby.

What an ethical debate... pixels or life? Although I do agree, a child cost way to much, plus they smell, are noisy, and it'll be 18 years till you can have an intelligent conversation with them. On average a US family spends over 1 million US dollars to raise a child to their late teens, there would be alot more millionaires if there were less kids... that being said I'd still choose humanity over self-absorption.

This only shows that girls pick wrong guys all the time.

 

If I ever have a GF, if we make kids, then I would be around and helping her in every possible way during her whole pregnancy and especially at that moment, 2 months after birth I dunno (would help with the kids, but "around" her, it would depend on other aspects of the relation), but during pregnancy, I would be supporting her non-stop, in complete love and admiration.  I guess she could even hurt me without me even flinching while she would be pregnant (actually, I would prolly cringe yet remain and try to pretend I didn't flinch); there is something "hormonal" for both sides; not just women.

 

But, some girls, they seem to have a talent at picking the worst possible guy out there!  Heck, a dog would have been better than that guy!    I bet this guy was moving the moon at first and doing everything...LOL, girls should be careful, a guy doing everything at the start is usually a bad, very bad sign...as these guys are thinking that after an initial investment, everything is easy...while they should think the opposite, at first, you don't do much, but the more you grew in love and the more the relation advance, the more you do, both of you!  It should be natural.  Taming a partner isn't something instant nor easy.

I think there are a lot of people who would rather stare at a wall than raise a child.  I wouldnt want a kid either right now in my life, and I'd rather be doing anything than raising a baby, including video games.

MY pregnant woman, that would be droolicious.  Maybe I am evil, maybe I am wrong, maybe I am twisted, but I would love every moment and support her and find her all the cuter, because we went throught all this together.  Yes her body bear scars, but these scars are making her nicer, not uglier.  Because, it would be MINE girl!  Of course, a woman that isn't mine who gave birth, that ain't appealing at all, it isn't my girl.

 

Finding someone sexy is also hormonal, shared experience and much more!  A new girl, maybe, but your loved one?  All this life experience, these scars, these consequences, and the fact she doesn't resign, she want to be as nice as possible and so on...that would be lovely.

 

I am prolly an evil twisted bastard!    But MY pregnant woman, pregnant, she is cuter than before...a random pregnant woman; fucking gross!  These is not just physical appearance!  There is more in actually finding someone sexy...
