Its got me slightly confused!?!?!?

I can never work this out, I know what they stand for but PvE (does that mean NO pvp whatsoever??),

PvP Team (is that race against race)

and I guess PvP is a free for all...kind of.

    PvE : Player vs. CPU (if it say so, it normally indicate that there is no PvP or RvR).

    RvR: Realm vs. Realm (could be races, depending on game. You will be in a faction which in most cases have been choosen under character creation. You will be able to fight against players that are from an opposite faction).

    PvP: Player vs. Player (normally a free for all).

    PvE = Player vs. Environment (no PvP)



    PvP = Player vs. Player (also has PvE)



    PvP Team = Teams of Player vs. Player (the exact definition and makeup of the  Teams are determined by the rule set of the server)



    PvP FFA = Player vs. Player  Free for All (no teams - everyone is killable)



    PvE RolePlay or PvP RolePlay = same as the others except it is preferred and expected that your character will stay "in character" as much as possible (i.e. no talking about your real life stuff in the game).

    Regarding the teams, the numbers appear more equal if you consider that all "humans" and two of the "elves" are Order, while both of the "barbarians" are "Shadow". Considering lore history, this is a fairly good arrangement if one must be limited to 2 teams. I would prefer a larger set of affinities and rivalries based on history and proximity, then make high-level diplomacy capable of manipulating the NPC "leaders" to screw around with alliances and hostilities. Wouldn't it be cool to get the high elves ticked off at the dwarves and thestran humans in alliance with the half-giants and varanjar? Or the leopard guys and varanthari ticked off at the dark elves, who are already ticked off at everyone else anyway?

    Diplomacy won't work in a game with any restrictions on pvp. The diplomacy in vangaurd is only half complete until this is allowed.

    What's the point of watching elves and dwarves kill each other if there just going to get rezzed and lose nothing. Who cares. To me this is an illusion. The polygons on screen fight each other die and the it's over. There is no substance, risk, or fear. I risk more losing in smash brothers than vangaurd pvp.

    ah ok, well I like the sound of the PvP team but the EU server seems near dead!?!?!? what is the US PvP Team server called (and is it popular cus all the servers bar 2 seem constantly on LOW)
