I participated in some open betas and finished product have usually more content, usually more lands and items and thats all, so i dont expect miracles from ryzom, they dont change graphic engine, they dont change ui, they dont change animations, they dont change skill system, they dont change fight system... so why i should give it another try? If there will be few things that i dont like, ok, maybe they will change but in reality i hate everything in this game... and they dont change everything;)

EverQuest2 (crap, crap & crap)
Lineage 2 (after the free month and the payed time you'll find that all yourgrinding has led you to max lvl 30 and the 3rd set of weapon and armor set...)
RYL (grind grind grind.. oh now im max lvl so now all i can do is PvP.. CRAP)
Horizon (omg.. we got alot of features but you can't accually do any of it..na na na)

Uh DAOC is fun and dynamic. It takes time and a little bit of patients to learn it. The game doesnt even begin untill about level 25 when you can rvr...and go to the battlegrounds..

MU really was good game for me until i noticed all the 1 hit & speed hackers in that game, but otherwise fun, (ya a bit of a grind at times but how many games are not?)
BiosFear was really great game also. fun dungeons in BiosFear, and several other features.
Ya ok flame me but that was my experience with those games.
I think the first poster was aiming a bit too high and failed to point out much worse games out there.
Two come to mind with me..
1>Vastian - can't even use the game after download with Admins not even bother to fix problem.
2> MagiKnights - Was suppose to be released January 1st and yet has not. Graffix are old in this game.
I am positive are many more alot worse but would rather keep posts on positive side and focus on cool next game someone has found than on games someone hates.

Althought Marvel manage to draw a lot of my angriness away from Mythic! At least Mythic was fighting an evil beast. Marvel will have a hard time to prove me Cryptic is a more evil beast then they are in anyway, form or concept!

hmmmm, I don't think you will have very many ppl agree with you on that one. DAoC, for me, is right behind a game i played for 3 years called EQ1 as far as MMO favorites go.
DAoC = was a good game, now it's a great game.

Worst community ever. so many racist children it lacks words to describe.
Economy is totally borked from adena farmers.
Level grind is INSANE, especially when u spend 75% of the time running/fighting for your life from gankers.

do not play-------------> nexus: kingdom of the winds - i got banned for celebrating 4/20 last year....i was in-character about it too....in the game theres herb pipes and shit, so i was roleplaying.....didnt even get a notice before i got banned, it was kinda sad....one of the best small rp'ing communities i've seen(it was my first game, so i'm biased i guess).
Graal ok the stupid zelda are the player worlds ya twit lol the main graal gamealright if ya bored and for a 3.00 a month charge dont expect high expectations,MU is free at the moment and is considered beta so dont bother complainin about it.

Furcadia's about as old as Ultima Online (if not perhaps older), so that's probably why it's here.
