I am considering to purchase a new computer and I was contemplating what components to to use. I know you need alot of RAM, but im not sure how much a CPU/Graphics Card would help. If someone would be so kind as if to enlighten me, i would be very appreciative.
Hehehe, this being my first post, i decided to use big words and use good sentences.

Needed computer specifications heavily depend on what game you choose to play. For example, Vanguard would require a lot more from your system than World of Warcraft.
In any case, 1 gigabyte of RAM is probably the minimum, followed by a 3 gigahertz single core processor (a 1.8+gh dual core would be much more efficient in both the long and the short run), if you can get hyperthreading on either CPU, go for it. For a graphics card, either an ATI or AMD brand is probably the way to go, my personal recommendation would be the Geforce series, probably the 6200 at the least.
The above example is made on the assumption that you intend to play at least some of the more system intensive MMORPGs.

Most of them will run on 1gb ram, x800xt or nvidia 6800 and a normal P4 or amd 3000xp +. Though to max out on the latest ones of corse you'll need 2gb ram and a better processors maybe.
Obviously you can use worse Graphics cards depending on what game like UO hardly needs a 3d gpu lol.

You shouldn't get anything less than a 7900GS 256mb video card (~200$).
You shouldn't get less than 1g of ram, and realistically 2g is preferable (~100-300$).
You shouldn't get less than A64x2 3800 or PD945 (~120-180$).
One thing to NOT overlook also is get a GOOD power supply, things are increasing taking more and more power, and NOTHING is so exasperating as to spend a lot of money on good parts and have random reboots and problems because of a cheap power supply.
That being said you shouldn't have trouble building a good MMO system for <1000$ if you already have a monitor.

It all really comes down to what kind of money you want to spend and whether your building it yourself or having it built by a computer company. I spent about 1800 bucks last year and it covered everything from the case i wanted to a nice new LCD monitor. I Had to put it together myself and luckily had a friend with an extra copy of windows xp pro.
P4 3.4ghz (dual)800 Mhz front side bus ((actually has a faster FSB but I didn't want to shell out the super bucks for the extreme edition chip)
2gigs ram (can hold up to 4 gigs)
7900 GT Nvidia (256 mb ram)
250 gig hard drive sata
The rest is all pretty standard from there. If your going to buy new buy the best one you can afford as close to top as you can get. It'll last you slightly longer and it'll run anytyhing new or up and coming. I used some fairly expensive parts , though not nearly as expensive as the SLi enabled stuff. If your doing a full rebuild getting something for less than 1000 USD is going to be tough unless you skimp on a few parts.

How much you looking to spend?
For ~800-1k you could have something like...
Asus M2NPV-VM ~85
Athlon64 X2 3800+ ~160
Kingston 2GB DDR2-667 ~150
GeForce 7950GT 512 ~265
Maxtor 200GB 16MB ~80
Pioneer DVD-111D ~35
Case... whatever you like.
Power Supply... whatever you like.
Keyboard... current one?
Mouse... current one?
Monitor... current one?
Edit: Yes, Intel would be faster... but you'll also pay more. If you've got money to spare I'd flip to an Intel d.
