Anyone else catch the TH shutdown post?

Earlier today, a post showed up in DEV tracker from TH. It was immediately retracted later, and now a massive deletion of any thread related to it is underway. This is the message that was posted from TH...

It is with heavy heart that that I bring this to you all. After 3 plus years Star Wars Galaxies is finished. Low subscriptions and low server population have prompted SOE to close the door on the SWG project once and for all.

The servers will begin shutting down today starting with Bria, sorry guys first one in, first one out. This process will take approximately one week.

All accounts paid beyond that will be reimbursed.

Thanks for all the memories, and I will truly miss you all.

I don't know if TH's account was hacked, if he was posting us a warning, or what just happened. No explanation as to what is going on. Did anyone screenshot it before the deletion?

Anyways, something is going on, might just be an account hacking, but an explanation is in order from SOE as to why a RED NAME, TH of all posted that.

If it would be real, it wouldn't have been deleted, and it would be a much longer post.

If you are going to post stuff like this, you just as well post a valid link...

I'll believe it when I see it from Smed

Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware

"Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product."

Ok..... the post was obviously fake because that is not even on the official sony boards.

Like I said, when I see it form SoE via Smed, I'll believe it.  Until then, I think somoene has a bit of an attention problem they may want to see a doctor about.

They are the official boards, but the post was a hoax, yet people blindly believed it.

To further kill this rumour, for those that may still be believing it, I subscribe to the Dev tracker RSS with Outlook.  Anytime a new post comes up on Dev Tracker, it goes into the folder I have in Outlook for the feed.  If a post is deleted that contains a dev post, the post still stays in my RSS folder even if it's not on Dev Tracker anymore.  I don't have this supposed post in my folder ;)
