Best Class Duo?

Going to be teaming with a friend of mine and just wanted to know your opinions on what would be the most survivable ( not the fastest leveling) and probably most desired duo you can think of? We want to get into groups as much as possible but be effective even when not grouped.

Well i can't speak for lvls over 15 but i've been duoing with a cleric. I'm a paladin. We've been running through mobs like crazy since we can heal each other and we both have attacks. i can tank. We do very well. We where keeping up with another group which had 4 people a rogue a warrior wiz and a druid. We held our own being justa  cleric and a paladin fighting up to 4 equal level mobs at a time. Not only that but it was a load of fun.

Well i dont know if its the best but i play a bloodmage and my brother has a dreadknight and we beat 4dot creature well above our lvl and we can handle multiple creature with ease.....we actually go looking for trouble lol.
