hello everyone,
I've played quite some MMOs and I feel like with BC I'm yet again getting tired of my current MMO... (WoW).
I've Played:
- Planetside (this was sooooo awesome b4 poplocks/nerfs)
- Neocron
- EVE-Online (got boring because everything took at least 5 hours and even then all ppl would run from me/not even turn up
, also everything bigger than BS got "normal" -> bye bye... )
- WoW (world of grindcraft with grindpvp, grindgold 4 grindpve I'm done....)
next?
I've thought about EQx but the only things I've heard about this was by a far fetched "friend" that used to play with 4-6 boxes supporting him (yes b0ts)
suggestions?
I've always been looking for something in between WoW and EVE when it comes to pvp, in eve you loose everything, in WoW nothing.... (if you loose :P )
Oh and I've tried GW.... no way..... I mean wtf?
thanks in advance

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!
Ryzom: Great community cool combat system that forces you to group with people if you want to have fun, yet not so much that it's forced grouping. Sort of like a fantasy EvE only better. It has a 14 day trial if you wanna try it. No endless grind and the idiots that you find in WoW.
Just keep in mind that if you're coming from WoW Ryzom is much harder and doesn't hold your hand through the whole game.
There is also a soft level limit meaning that if you kill someone who’s 20% lower level than you, you gain nothing and they lose nothing.
It works pretty well, I just hope they increase the penalty a little more as it’s pretty easy to avoid coin drop. Hopefully they will introduce some type of item looting; I know they were looking into it.
The whole anti vs rpk thing is back, and there is hardly any ganking/griefing going on – at least not that I’ve seen. Sure, there are rpk’s running around, but that’s half the fun!
Not sure sorry, only just started playing myself & their website blows.
Though if you combine the fact that there are no instances, with a FFA ruleset things start getting interesting. I can already foresee towns, leveling spots, dungeons etc being fought over and held by rival players & guilds.
I personally enjoy the dynamic nature & freedom of this system.
sorry for appearing so lazy :P
There is also a team PVP server if you prefer.
