HAIR! omg! WHEN are they gonna put more then 4 hair styles per race? to me that just took the "debth" right out of the game=/ does anyone know when they are gonna add more hair styles?

I do agree, even WoW has more hairstyles, and that's probably the worst game for character customization.

Just to point out that your character CAN be changed once it's made I can't say many games offer that and I think Sigil are busy with more important stuff within the game atm, and besides it took both EQ and EQ2 (possibly SWG I dunno wasn't there at the start) a while to actally have the current level of customisation in character generation, just hold ya horses

While I agree with your point about them adding the customization later, I know for a fact that EQ2 customization is pretty much the same as it was at launch. And the only thing that changed in EQ1 was the upgraded luclin models, the amount of customization options never changed. Unless you count the newest race, the Drakin or something, but I stopped playing long before then.

During the beta the changed around hairstyles a loooooot. I don't think the ones we have no were finalized until the end of Beta 3, and not all of them at that. Then came Beta 4 and shortly after Beta 5, I guess they ran out of time bothering with customizing.



But at least in the beta they did show some sort of proficiency in adding and changing hairstyles at will. Like someone else said, we can always re-customize later on so...

I love this game, but I do agree. Sometime in the future (I don't think too near), they will be moving to the new unreal engine (3 I think?), so I'm sure the character models and such will hugely improve.

The devs have already said several times that they will be adding more hair & facial hair styles post launch.



Let them just iron out the major remaining issues first

i can pretty much guarentee you there will be alot more, for one reason when you try to use the hair slider some are the same style, also yes in SWG it took a month to reach what they had concerning overall customization.
