I was in Tanvu last night and some orc shot at me with an arrow... and it bounced off my shield.

Yeah vanguard sux, in the game Oblivion arrows stick to shields they dont bounce off, thats original content right there, thats innovention.  Vanguard doesnt have innovention, it just copies copies copies.  You know how much money PONG is losing because of vanguard stealing its game concepts??  TOO MUCH!!

I didn't know this thread was about screenshots taken in beta. Yes, this argument of who copied who is just silly. Saying that Vanguard copied WoW, EQ2, UO, etc. jusy tells me that said person did not play or not for very long.

Edit: In all fairness Vanguard did copy some utilities of other games. They used what worked and made thier own game that is the most in depth MMORPG on the market IMO.

Jackdog, those elves have plenty of arrows, they are all in the buckets off to the right hand side.  They are probably just practicing their stance atm, not shooting at the targets till they get warmed up, you know?

Who on earth could possibly handle such a heavy thing??

Try reading some history or at least GRR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire": heavy shields were made of oak, lighter ones from other woods and maybe leather
