Diablo 3?

I've heard rumors that Diablo 3 would be coming out by 2010 and that it would possibly be an MMO. Would you like it if it were an MMO or if it followed the usual dungeon crawler format?

 

I personally think a Diablo 3 MMO would be interesting. It should have the same classes as the other two but with a bunch of skill types, sorta like Oblivion. I hope it doesn't have the endless grind though.

    Blizzard has announced that they are currently working on two games other than World of Warcraft, and that one of those games is an mmorpg...Blizzard will announce either one or both of those games, this year.  Personally I'm holding out for Starcraft 2, or a Starcraft MMORTS.  The only detail provided by blizzard was that "both games are very different from world of warcraft.

    You guys will be suprised when they say it's going to be a Lost Vikings MMO.

    Naaa... I hope not.... I mean, Diablo hasn't got what it takes to become an MMORPG.... You don't have different races or whatever... would you like a MMO where you could only choose human or fiend?....



    Now, a Diablo3 RPG, that would definatly rock! Add a new story, some new classes, new skills, stay with the skill-tree system.... I would buy it for sure!

    Why is everyone so set on having different races, anyway? Mmm.... most MMORPGs have a lot more than 2 races.... I think there is a regulation that says an MMORPG must have a handfull of races to be successfull..   The only successfull MMORPG without some diferent races is CoH.... Not that I mind it myself.... I liked RYL, last MMORPG I played...



    I would still prefer a Diablo rpg with on-line play, like D2.... oh, good old D2 times... how I miss them!

    Come on its blizzard, anything they touch will turn to gold. Remember when Blizzard was working on starcraft ghost but they scraped it because of next gen systems, this mean the new game could be on the ps3/360

    They make up excuses like skills, class, all that. But you can have that without races.

    I think the true reason is that they get sick of looking at the same guy all the time. I played a dark elf for a long time in TES. It got boring and drawl looking at a slender black thing with pointy ears all the time. So I created a blonde, female, mystic elf.  Call me a perv. I dont care.

     I hope they finallly finish Starcraft Ghosts. If not, a Starcraft MMORPG/FPS would be awsome. While a Doablo 3 would be really cool, I have to agree I can't see it being a MMORPG.

    I really hope that Diablo 3 comes out.

    i don't care who is making it, Diablo is one game im never going too qiut playing
