I don't see one objection on your little list that couldn't be solved with some ingenuity and about thirty seconds.
I still think its a cool idea.

I really want the Ogre as a playable race in the future and hope that Blizzard implements them, just make it controllable by one person. None of the share stuff.
If they were to implement the share portion of it then I would like to see it so you can choose whom you are stuck with. That way you could get a friend or a guildmate to go half and half with you.
"Their not going to delay the game and beta just to create some ogre that will ruin the game. Thats why you don't see any mmorpgs like that."
The Two-headed Ogre artwork is in the game already. All they would have to do is (if they went the share route) is to work out those details. I doubt it would be to hard to do. If they wanted them to just be single player controlled then that would cause no problem with the beta or release at all.

Controlled by one or two persons doesn't matter. Two-headed ogres are so stupid their combined intelligence rival that of a teapot.

Then how do you explain the ogre mages? Besides that, most of the ppl out there arn't as smart as a tea pot, yet they seem to do alright for themselves... Somewhat.
What's lame though, is arguing over it. If they were in the game, would you really care? Just choose not to play one, and would it effect you that much? (the ogre thing)It was a nice joke, but it certainly got everyone thinking.

Just brainstorming on a possible balance to the ogre idea.
Night elves have Chimeras which are two headed. Yes, I know, chimera's are flyers and to pull the idea off they'd need to have their wings clipped, which could be a lore issue. Maybe give them a short flight ability after they reach level 40...
Or how about an archer riding a griffin? In WC3, I remember picking up archers with some night elf flying creature(not sure which, pardon my lack of info) Though this is a temporary duality and would be extremely tough to balance, the idea could hold true in different areas like: A gnome riding on the back of a druid in bear form.
Rock golems exist in WC3... would it be too drastic of a change to give them two heads? Maybe...
Grrrr... mind blank... I can't think of the character. The ones that throw Glaives in WC3 that are somewhat similar to a centaur Though they only have one head, there's a two creature duality in that makeup.
Input anyone?

2 people playing the same character is just a bad idea in the long run. It's yet another one of those ideas that seem fun at first but a week later has dried up everything it had going for it.
The only thing you could probably hope for is in an expansion they make a 2-headed ogre a playable race but of course only by 1 person.
I think it'd be awesome to try. Although I'd like it if you could choose who your partner is going to be. My friend and I would have an absolute blast roleplaying an ogre that's always at odds with itself. People have said that allowing that then would allow people to get two accounts to control the whole ogre themselves. Well, I don't see how that's much different than what people currently do now by getting 2+ accounts to play their own team in other games. So I don't think it's something that could be abused. Maybe they could give you the option of selecting someone OR allowing you to get randomly placed with another person. Best of both worlds that way. People that want to play with a friend can do so, and people that want that bit of risk involved with being thrown together with an unkown person can do so.
It's definitely not a character for everyone, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be put in game. If a person doesn't like an idea they can just choose not to participate in that aspect. Play a different race/class if you don't like the two headed ogre idea, don't try to stop others from getting something they might enjoy immensely.
