Yeah, much better than "Vanguard is burning and falling from the sky!" Although come to think of it is a game was actually doing that I would love to log in and see it. =P
Let the naysayers nay say. That's what nay sayers do anyway. They will live and breath their naysaying, and try to spread it (They call it "Warning others") until the next newer something comes out that strikes them the wrong way.
Just let them be. Don't fight back, don't interact with them, and most of all don't start nay saying another game because they nay said your game.
It's all a waste of time when you've got a beautiful half-unexplored world to discover!
Actually, this thread does not deliver in any way just like many of the hater posts.
Why do you like it? Why is it awesome? What aspects are appealing to you personally so much?
I try, buy and judge games based on personal experience but I don't bother unless I see some valid information. So far I'm seeing numerous reports of bad personal experiences on Vanguard in all forums that I follow.
It's nice that you like the game but don't expect people to trust or believe you unless you provide more substantial feedback than this.
Never be afraid of choices. More choices are always good things.
One of my major gripes about the game was the graphics, but the other night I was fighting some trolls and feck me did they look great!! It looks as if they spent more time on some of the creatures than they did on the characters lol
Also the community continues to impress me, never seen a community like it!
it doesnt matter if these so called naysayers dont like vanguard their opinion doesnt count for much because the majority of them are fans of wow, which in my opinion is the worst mmo ever...if you dont like vanguard dont post in the vanguard forum,.

This is quite possibly my biggest problem with this game, it's filled with people like this. This is an absolute prime example of how a huge amount fanbois will treat you in game if you don't think this game is the end all and be all of MMO's.
What's even more ironic though, is these people will probably be here bitching in 6 months that the game feels empty.

Doesn't help when the other side of the pool is crazed and zealous as well.
I give it 6 months b4 all the servers merge into 1, right now the station pass is holding VG together.
Its sux in all areas, gameplay, graphics/animimation (3rd gen my ass), story, support and playablitiy. Its full of bugs and incomplete content.
All just my opionion ofc. I just wish I could get my £30 back and the hours spent installing and uninstalling this piece of crap.
The only good things that came from VG is that other devs will know how not to make a MMO and also thinking about the short time I spent in VG makes me sleepy so its great for power naps in work.

You forgot to add IMHO to that. You certainly seem like a "the glass is half empty" kind of guy.
I love how 90% of the critics on this game are WoW fans with crappy machines. But of course its Vanguards fault the game
doesn't run well on their 2 ghz celeron with 512 meg ram.
Also I guess when you're used to getting things basically handed to you in wow, being led about by the newb friendly quests, soloing to 60, and getting slapped on the wrist for dying, playing a more hard core game can be a bit disconcerting.
For me Vanguard is definitely the best mmorpg since EQ. I'd actually say its better.
Everything in life is gonna have its share of people who like or dislike
Maybe tha game didnt live up to their expectations, my be they expected everything to be Oblivion style graphics, maybe they wanted crafting to be 'click on station, open recipe, click on recipe*bang bang bang* item made' kind of crafting, maybe they didnt like the cards style diplomacy, maybe they didnt like the quest's, teh mobs, the bugs in the game just maybe they really didnt like it?
on teh other hand the 'fanbois' like the crafting part of the game, like the cards style diplomacy, enjoy riding teh 'Flume' in Leth Nurae, like running round slaughtering mobs to hack the skin off them (and where is the RSPCA in this game?), running round exploring the huge world, riding horses, completing quests, leveling your char,
I mean i ran around then spent a good five mins looking at this fallen statue on teh ground, yeah i had lag, but im inclined to belive it is either my RAM or problem with the server, yeah its got bugs, hell all the systems i use in work have bugs, i just get on with it and dont let it annoy me, i dont wanna hit level 60 within a month, i mean hell on my other MMORPG it took me 8 months to hit level 50 and yes i spend more than 4 hours a day on my games
Im not that bothered by the glitches, nothing in life is perfect, you just accept it and move on, i know Brad and his devs are working hard to try and resolve the many issues in this game and only time will tell if they succeed or not, i personally hope they do and im prepared to put my game time into this , and as for the 15 a month, boy i spend that on a night out in about an hour so its nothing to me, the 30 to buy it? nope got it from play for 18 so again its no big loss to me
Everyone is entitled to their opinions on this for whatever reason
Just remember opinions are like assholes, everyone got one and they all stink

LOL... that's pretty easy to do when a game can't get any worse .

is WoW.
Sounds promising. Many haters - Mucho lovers
At least it leaves nobody cold, which is a good thing, too.
Took me yesterday and the day before to travel half of Thestra
on my horse in walk mode. Taking my time. It was a blast.
