lol @ u: My Vanguard Review

I've got to say, I haven't been around this forum in well over 3 months. Real life has taken over, and my ability to whore up forums has gone down over the past few months

But either way, this Vanguard section made me "LOL IRL." I beta tested Vanguard and so I have a slight knowledge of the game, but you guys should please check your reviews before you whore around with "omg thiz game sux my nutz lag!!11" or "omg SOE killed my firstborn" or even the dreaded "mmo's give me the herp" thread.
Basically, there's fanboi's and hateboi's for every game but please try to actually talk about the game, and not just cry because your computer can't support a game that just came out. I don't want to see one of my favorite forums go to the shitter because all some people do is argue.
For example, let's try this:

I thought Vanguard was a nice game. I really liked the seamless world and the flowing quests. TBH though, it's nothing new, but is any MMO really extremely different from any other? (exception: eve)
The graphics are fairly nice, and I like the multitude of classes and customization, it's really a step above WoW and DAoC, which are the only other two mmo's i've ever spent time on within the past year and a half. But while everything looks nice, a higher-end PC is required to run it smoothly. I have a fairly beefy laptop (intel duo 2.5/7900GS 512mb/2gb ram) and run it fine in high quality, but I could see that some people have problems with FPS on lower-end machines. Bottom line is: it's a new game, don't expect your 4 year old computer to pwn up in high quality.
As far as bugs go like some people have said, I can only compare to the last phase of beta. There were a few bugs, but then again it was nothing compared to AC2. Is long as there's no rubber-banding while running from a group mob, I can tolerate a lot. But, if you want a perfectly polished game slightly akin to WoW, this might not be in the same ballpark. But, all in all I believe the bugs are small and livable, and I wouldn't assume anything has gotten any worse since beta.

i really like this game although it needs further improvement, looking forward re-review this game in a few months.

And unfortunatly While you where gone this forum turned into a WoW is jesus and everything must be compared to it forum. Also Anything new is bad. OH AND anything that 1 person doesn't like is IMMEDIATLY horrible and no one else is allowd to enjoy it.
Just a heads up on who will be replying to this post even though it's a great one.
Alot of the people who don't like the game don't like it because their computer doesn't run it for one reason or another. What people need to realise is Games arn't made for your exact pc like a gaming console. Every pc is different with mix matched parts from different vendors and games need to be made taking that into account. I run the game beasutifullly on a 3 year old pc. Thats just my experience. I'm enjoying the game Expecially diplomacy just spend 8 hours on diplomacy alone. And i feel the game has amazing potential. The game does have it's flaws but it's keeping me happy and occupied better than any other MMO at the moment and that includes WoW...
