    open beta should be starting soon.

    Open beta starts April 6th.

    Currently: Playing EVE Online
    Previous: FFXI, Dragonrealms, sad little stint in WOWland.
    Awaiting: Fallen Earth, Hero''s Journey, Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan.

    its in beta 2, and the open beta starts on march 30 if u preorderd

    With open beta starting at end of March, we obviously have 2 more months of testing (Feb and March) and then however long they make open...probably 4 weeks at best. So about 3 months to launch. The game is surprising me lately. Seems to be on the upswing. (I was down on it after they changed the name from Middle Earth Online and the focus to good only)

    Barring an unforseen catastrophy, the game will launch on April 24, 2007, so there will be official testing from now until that day.

    On the official website and on various games sites as well in a press release by Turbine a few weeks ago.  Closed beta, open beta, it's still all testing until the given launch date.
