If you want to get outright robbed by a gaming company, then buy it. If not stay far away for at least 6 months maybe more. This game has more bugs than a crack house.
Combat= broken
Crafting = frustrating AND broken in many cases.
Diplomacy was the only thing I was enjoying but it leads to WAY to many dead end quests, after about skill lvl 50 diplomacy is just plain NOT INPLEMENTED
Numerous game "features" not in game yet such as caravans and fellowships.
WAY too mANY ppl posting that they have lost all thier items, lose exp, lose lvls, lose money even. Also if you go to the vangaurd site the tech forums are LOADED with screaming ppl that cant even get into the game whilst thier 30 day "free" trial burns away.
Maybe a playable game some day but right now you might as well just hit your self in the head with a hammer, it might be just as fun.

LIES!!! Man it is post like this one that really get under your skin, Combat is not broken. The only problem I have seen is that ocasually a mob pops away from you during combat. But you can still hit and kill it and get the exp. I am a 52 skill level in diplomacy so there is a 50+ diplomacy in the game. Geez man where is the IMHO, this is an unfair review which is false. So really you hit your head with a hammer for fun, well that would explain this post alot.
The game has issues and it will be better if the bugs get taken care of, but it is playable if you abjust the video to get lag under control. So I would say , play now if you want to get a feel for the game and are eager, but it will be a better overall experince in a month or two I would bet. Hehe, I just wanted to go at it now. It is Playable to me now.
