Go to skills and select your class. It can give you the more advanced class skills as well as lower end. Make you, for example, if your going Gladiator later that u choose human fighter if your level 12, Gladiator will give you Gladiator skills from lvl 40 up only.

i found out it's level 14 until new skills from the lineage 2 site. but i think it's outdated and they don't have all the skills on their yet. i think one of the msgs when you log on states that they have 143 new skills which i don't think has been updated on the site. also some of the skills listed as level 14 i got at level 5

The 143 new skills they mention are in my opinion the skills for the +lvl40 classes. They said there are lvl 40 classchanges available now and so their skills are also available. So their skills must be the 143 new ones.

    Way to go Geist.

They -may- have added some lower lvl skills, but I do strongly believe that the new ones they mentioned are for the lvl 40+ class change.

Go ahead and count them if ya want. ^.^"

Seems that way to me too.  They arent really new, just the normal skills that come with the advanced classes at level 40+ that hadnt been added in durring closed beta.

they better get new skills, there's not enough variety right now. i got like 3300 sp with nothin that i want to spend them on.

the biggest problem with the game is variety. everyone looks like the same, and everyone has the same powers.

Everyone does have  the same powers at the lower levels. Once you start changing professions and get into the higher levels you'll begin to see more and more veriety in characters. At lower levels all you have is the Fighter and Mage class. Of course everyone is going to have the same powers. If you think about it, it makes sense

Actually there is a huge variety of skills, more then in many mmorpgs imo.

The problem is that the way they have done classes everyone starts out one of 2 classes (fighter or caster) and has to work their way up to the more advanced stuff.  This means most of the variety comes later in the game forcing you to wade through many levels having the same skills as 50% of the other people leveling up.

You start to see some small diversification with your level 20 to 35 skills but much of the really unique stuff doesn't start until 40+.

This class tree form of progression is becoming more and more common which is unfortunate from my point of view.  It creates a very bland environment for a large portion of a game and means the end game is the only area that receives much focus.

EQ2 is also using this form of class development.

Look here for a listing of class skills and keep in mind you keep all skills from th lower level classes you progressed through.

Once you get higher level you will have more skills then most mmorpgs provide and many of them very unique.  There is also a tool for comparing skills from one class to another at the following link.

    http://lineage.warcry.com/index.php/content/db_php/cmp_skills.php

This allows you to see the variety between some of the advanced classes and helps you understand their role later in the game.
