ingame posting?

will there be any form of ingame posting system or ingame auction (everybody knows where this idea comes from)?

the main reason i`m posting this question and poll is, i wouldn`t like AoC to become a new farm ground for farming bots and ebay hunters.in my eyes buying ingame gold via ebay ruins the idea of the game and having some bot run around an area killing mob you need for a quest is very annoying.

Even though I am sure UO would have had an in-game auction place or item mail system if they had the proper technology to do so back then, I think the system it was forced to provide was the best one I have come across in all my MMORPG experiences. Sure hiding piles of gold or expensive weapons and armor in the corner of public taverns so you could log-out and re-log back in at the same spot with another character to transfer the items was a bit nerve-wracking(Especially when the game told you the character you logged out with was still active and refused to let you log back in with the new character) but it made the game world seem so much more "real" and dangerous. Of course once you were able to purchase a house it was a hell of a lot easier to transfer items, but even then the first few years of the game made this a ton of fun with the chance of house burglaries.

The lack of anything but speech bubble chat also really helped to shape the game world. It made you feel more alone and the world much bigger.

I could go on for hours about UO's superiority(Pre-Trammel) to all other MMORPGs when it comes to game mechanics but I am sure that those who played UO already know this, and those that didn't have already heard all this.

My point is that the less communication and non-physical player-interraction tools provided, the better.
