Dryad- the children of Cenarius have no reason to concern themselves with the war and if they did they would not choose a side
Satyr- these are demonic Night Elves, as in allied with the Burning Legion
Murloc- is this a joke?
Gnoll- same as Murloc
Harpies- now this is just stupid
Merpeople- what Merpeople?
Naga- currently the naga are allied with Queen Azshara and Illidan but the naga are somewhat like with Blood Elves they hate everyone else, Blizzard would have to pull some huge story bull crap reason why the naga would join the Horde. Also, the naga would pose problems like wearing armor and jumping and riding mounts.
Goblins- Blizzard has stated several times that Goblins will NEVER be playable in WoW.
Ogres- a good choice for Horde, very probable but still not one that I would pick
The problem is not the content! its the freakin way to get items out of dungeons! Thats what shoulb be improved! More drops or more set obtain by quests! otherwise its just gonna stay the same boring raiding game! At least the game turned to something else when the last patches before the expansion came out! PvP FTW
Of the races, the one I most want to play would be Murloc which I think the Blizzard team could come up with something interesting. As to faction though, it could go both ways. Just like how the Draenei arrived on Azeroth allowing them to be playable, imagine if a tribe of Murlocs had something happen to them too...
But out of the box most practical I would say Naga. Yes, they can't jump as most humanoids do but they can leap by pushing off from their lower body. I can imagine them looking pretty cool.

They don't have feet though, wouldn't it kind of mess up item bonuses from sets?
Naga Warrior: Whee! I got my Wrath boots... Hmm, hey guys I can kind of slip this one boot on the end of my tail, but it keeps falling off.... not sure what to do with this other one... Any ideas?
However, I have a feeling any new races will be completely made up, like the draenei. Thats if they add more races, I expect the next expansion to bring Hero Classes and 2 new basic classes (1 for each realm).
id vote for gobbos... but they would never be in he game as a player character. ogre could be a good one as for alliance you could always go with centaurs... but that wouldnt really work unless it was like an exiled tribe in which case they would likely be horde. i really cant think of any alliance races. hero class? new classes definatly would be sweet only if they made them faction specific like pally and shammie were.
The draenei were not made up, they were breifly in WC3
Yup
Also blizz own the lore and can do what ever they like with it, some people think lore is set in stone but its not WoW takes place now, not 1000 years ago (in the lore) its unfoling now so blizz can change things and add things to will. And for me this is good becuase you dont know what will happen or where blizz will take the story.
The draenei were not made up, they were breifly in WC3
Draenei, as the playable race as they are in Burning Crusade WAS made up. They even had to completely mess up a major story point to have them as a playable race. The Broken were playable in WC3 and not what we can play as in WoW.
Course, that pails in comparison to the bull crap they had to pull to have Blood Elves be a playable race.
If the next expansion does have new playable races then it doesn't matter what they have to rewrite to make them fit they will be playable.
i personally would love to play as a murloc, mostly just so i could run around making that noise mululululululululllllllll
but im fairly certain that one playable race will be the naga, because in developers island there is a giant naga type temple thing, and the developers have hinted at having them as playable races.
Buti really hope the next expansion includes northrend and undermine (undermine was in the original plans and was an instance in alpha but there was only water there)
the original plan was for all cross oceanic ships to go through undermine (the home of the goblins to anyone not already aware)
First and foremost, the next expansion must have new classes. Either do 2 total or 1 per faction, doesn't matter. Blizzard cannot hope to sustain WoW's success by just burping out content. Making someone reroll a new toon is a good way to keep them playing.
As for races, Ogres would make sense for Horde and probably Pandarians for Alliance. Before they announced the draenei, a lot of people were hoping for Pandarians. I know when I first heard it was draenei I asked "what the pygmy guys in the swamp?"

What bullcrap about blood elves?
the only bullcrap they did to the blood elves was that they will not stand by illidans side after they see what illidan, kael thas and lady vashj's true goal really is. and chris metzen the one who MADE the story made it this way, this makes it to zero bullcrap like you call it, it is 100% true to the lore. and imo they fit right in with the horde because sylvanas was a blood elf in her previous life, and a pretty high standing one i might add.
Or maybe a new playable faction instead of Horde and Alliance!! I think it would be neat to play the Burning Legion where the starting zone is in the Twisting Nether and you can choose such races as dread lords, pit lords, and other demons. Add content for lvl 1 to level cap that consists of destroying maybe another world instead of Azeroth or something. PvP would be interesting too I think where Burning Legion could compete against Horde and Alliance for an entire world in conquest mode. It would be something different and maybe fun.
Andorae- did you just call Sylvanas a Blood Elf?! You seriously called Sylvanas a Blood Elf ?!
Sylvanas was killed before the formation of the Blood Elves because Sylvanas was killed by Arthas when Arthas' Scourge rampaged through Quel'Thalas and Blood Elves were formed as recognition of those who died during that(which includes Sylvanas).
The bull crap that Blizzard pulled is that before WoW:BC the Blood Elves hated everyone that wasn't a Blood Elf.
They hate all Alliance because the Alliance didn't help defend the Sunwell from Arthas and afterwards when the Blood Elves allied with the naga to defend against the Scourge the Alliance called Blood Elves traitors.
Before Burning Crusade the Blood Elves saw the Horde races as mindless barbarians that was beneath their notice.
But the biggest bull crap comes from the Forsaken. The Blood Elves absolutely despised ALL undead. Whether they be Scourge, Forsaken or whatever the Blood Elves hated them because Arthas' undead Scourge is what destroyed their home.
At least 2 new classes with one being melee of some sorts. Then of course epic classes instead of 10 or so more levels. I hate levels.. I'm already done with BC. Finished. But I love the game, just, I feel so done with it.
I kill other players because they're smarter than AI, sometimes.

Going by that list I would vote for:
None

I would choose Naga for the Horde! In WC3 there are a few missions in wich you can use them!
For Alliance i would go for the Dryads as well!
and you should not laugh of other people ideas Xiaoki! If you dont want to reply something constructive just go look to another post!
