So I am a Vet kinda, I played way back before any xpacs and then played briefly during JTLS. I wanted to try this NGE out and to see if what everyone is saying was true, and it is pretty much. I mean I started a new character, lvl 7 and it seems every mission I do (which is the same lvl as me) is impossible. I mean holy crap I engage a mob and then BAM insta incapacitate, am I supposed to get a group for this or something, cuz there is absolutely no one in Mos Eisley bar me. I don't think I even wanna try and get to a decent level to see the faction ratios.
This game was so much better before any of the xpacs. I hate it when sony go and do this shit just cuz they so greedy.

Blame LucasArts, afaik SOEs hand was forced and that's what created this mess in the first place.
SOE is apperently trying to do what they can with the game atm.
I dunno if it's true, and frankly, I don't really care. It's enough for me that one of the greatest mmorpgs has been destroyed and the community all but died.
What was con colour of the things you were attacking?
Yellow = a tough fight, but shouldn't be too bad.
Red = will be a hard fight, if you get your timing wrong you will probably die.
Purple = almost guaranteed to die.
The best thing to do is stay on Tansarii Station and do all the missions there first.
Then do the Legacy quests and you'll be fine.
When I started a new character on another server I did it that way. Works great!
