So are those the wings you have to be subscribed 15 months for or are they ones you can get when you create a character. I enjoyed the game off and on but not enough to pay for 15 months when I only played 4. Certainly not going to come back for wings if I actually don't have access.
Fortunately then you are 90% wrong. The article which accompanies the above shots states that these invented wings can be used by level one characters.
Same with the vet rewards wings. you can wear them at level 1 also. I'm thinking they meant that anyone can wear these wings and don't need to qualify for the vet reward to get em.
Oh, I was finally able to view the screenshot of the wings above. Them are new wings, must be the crafted ones. Kinda gnarly and ragged looking though. lol, must be for the villains, heheheh.
oh, sry for misdirecting info then. so what you said later was, you can wear the one you craft, but the other wings you get with veteran rewards (like angel wings) can ONLY be unlocked by getting the actuall veteran reward?

ok definitely to get the vet reward wings (angelic/demonic style) you need to be a 15 month subscriber and then any and all of your heroes (doesn't matter what level or how old or new) can wear those.
But, the new crafted wings... They haven't released enough information yet on them to say that only those that have qualified for the vet rewards can wear them or if anyone can, either gifted to you or crafted yourself. I can see quite a stir happening if just anyone can wear them. It'll make the 15 month vet reward feel kinda cheap and not worth reaching for any more.

To clarify:
The Wings showcased in the screenshots are wings that can be crafted via the upcoming inventions system. While they can be used by a level one character, they still have to *craft* the wings first. Plus, the Angel/Demon wings granted via veteran rewards (Which are not shown in the new screenshots) will *NOT* be craftable via the inventions system, and are usable when creating the character.
Umm, I think you're the only one seeing semi's. Where do you see a semi?
Edit: lol ok I saw the semi in one of the screenshots. I guess if you're transformers minded it may remind you of those but in this case it's doing what semi's do... making a delivery.
I thought the same thing at first. But then Optimus is based off of a very generic 80's semi. Why a generic 80's semi appears in COH/V is a different question. I can't quite read the license plate on it.
Well I guess transformers will sue them. The case will be thrown out. (Just cause it looks and acts like the truck doesn't make it optimus). And then in a year they buddy up with cryptic and announce the Transformers MMORPG to be made by them.
And having a clockwork in the trailer seems strangely fitting.
We'll see what it means soon enough
Edit: Damn i wish the liscence plate was readable
The license plate reads "OPT 1235"...or it might be "OPT 1357"...I don't remember if they skipped the 2 or not...but basically it's OPT and prime numbers.
There was a thread on the official site, and the artist responsible said it was indeed an homage to optimus

Oh right, thanks for clarifying that, I didn't make it clear.

My favorite charecter I play is a Vampyre called Rhasfugal. Now to understand Rhasfugal is to understand insanity. He was
Joker for kings, made a vampyre.. LOL not your typical vampyre to say the least! Ah.. how I miss CoH and CoV..
The only game which could draw me away was Voyage Century. I'm just a sucker for ships hehe.
