Vista is nice. It is having some issues, yeah, but it isn't like I expected a perfect OS from Microsoft anyway. I got it from my Uncles powerpack though, so it isn't like I set myself back any. Although I guess I am not one to poke at Windows with any real validity. The only reason I use Windows at all is for gaming. I'm a Linux guy.

You'd of thought with the Q/A system they have up in washington they would of be able to test multiple variables without having the hardware, I know that nothing can come out perfect.
However I do have to say Vista is one of the most borked OS's since ME came out, I have a buddy who works CS for MS and he just quit his job due to the load out of complaint calls (much more than average) . Now we can chalk this up to being the average computer user is a complete moron like monkey pounding keys until they get a result, or that the OS is baddly flawwed. Almost too flawwed to be released yet.
Will it get better? Yeah probally.
Was it released too early due to Gate's marketting team saying "NOW DO IT NOW, Quickly get into the public eye while you can!"?

Really? I've been using it full time since November, and I have less problems with it than I ever did with XP. A lot of the stuff being posted all around is obvious BS. Vista is very stable and doesn't have a ton of bugs no matter how many people want it to.

I dont know what you are talking about. My brother has Vista and hasn't had a single problem with it. I was expecting him to have some problems with it by now but still nothing. He loves his PC games too.
I am starting to believe all these Vista "bug reports" are mostly BS. People trying to drag it down in support of Mac or Linux maybe. Who knows? All I know is that Vista runs perfect on his computer.
