I was a closed beta player.

I was a closed beta player for DDO. It was laggy, combat had bugs, and it just looked terrible. Is it alot better now?Im sure it made improvements, but im asking if it improved alot.

I played it in Alpha which was really bad.   Beta was making good progress every patch.   They did release a little prematurely which they obviously took that lesson to heart for LoTRO because that game was in better shape in Alpha then most games are at release.   The game has filled up with much more content and features now.   If you liked the core game during beta then you will enjoy the game now.   That is pretty much the main question as the core game is the same.   Its about questing with groups and developing your character.   The combat is the same as it was in beta so alot will depend if you enjoyed the combat or not.  Its very stable and rarely lags for me with a 7600gt card.    Now that LoTRO is getting ready to launch in April after that DDO will probably be getting bigger patches because quite a few devs will be freed up to work on other projects.
