ugh, those Vanguard screenshots show so much bad. I can see why those ruins are ruins; they have no foundation and its right next to a stream meaning the ground will be soft.
Then there is just the bad texture work. Hurry make a grayscale of chain links and then lay a color over it, DONE. Ohh wait I forgot to normal map it, better run the grayscale image through the Nvidia Normal Mapping plugin. Texture work requires a good degree of Digital painting skills; and the first thing you learn when painting realistically is that nothing is one flat tone; also noise. Although I admit the orc faces look good; but thats the only high point I can find on the texture work.
