Roleplaying in Vanguard

I have not played Vanguard, but I'm interested. The key to my decision of buying an MMO is whether or not it's RP-friendly. So for those of you who have/do play Vanguard, please enlighten me!



Are there a lot of roleplayers in Vanguard? From what I've read one does not have to focus on fighting in Vanguard, right? So I shouldn't feel pressured into doing long and arduous quests with a team I don't like simply so I can level up. For all I care I could be level 20 or under for six months as long as I can find interesting roleplayers to socialize with.



Okay, here's a good question... Does a crafter or harvester need to level up in order to increase his/her skill?

Rather then re-hashing the same onfo over & over , might I suggest reading some of the Stickies above? There is a LOT of information out these that would surely answer your questions.

Primarily I'm looking for opinions from average players with in-game experience. Instead of roaming around unfamiliar websites in search of my answers I was hoping some kind souls here would be willing to take a few moments to share their RP experience thus far within V:SoH. If that's unreasonable, I'll just let it go and move on to another forum. My apologies if this is an inappropriate inquiry.
