Vanguard Error need help

Hi, was wondering if someone could help me.  I have been playing Vanguard since release but all of a sudden, when I create new characters and log them in the game crashes back to the desk top.  For some reason it does not crash if I play existing characters that were created before yesterday, I am tearing my hair out at this please help.

Um forgot actually it does crash with an existing character, a Giant lvl 8

I haven't heard of this one before, but a cure-all that has been recommended for a number of issues is doing a full-file scan.  This will update and/or overwrite any files that may have become corrupted.
