Does anyone know any F2P mmorpgs out there that even though the level grind may be terrible it makes the trip pretty fun. Maybe even so that you don't feel like you need to level to experience the fun content? I've looked through the free mmorpg market for awhile now and so far I've found usually the fun part is in the high levels and the majority of the game is the grind to that point. I am hoping there is some game out there that has either very well done dungeons that make leveling fun or some game mechanism that makes the grind not so bad..... I used to play WoW and I know I may be asking too much here of an F2P but I figured id check. Btw don't mention infinity, rakion, or gunz please ive played rakion for a little over a year off and on and the bugs annoy me =/=. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.

Free to plays are pretty rough. Most of them have a hard grind as they hope you will bypass by purchasing some of the products they offer. Thats the business model, whatcha gonna do? /shrug.
I dont have any real time in any of them but I thought Spacecowboy was pretty fun. Its different. I still pop on once in a blue moon to goof off. I think SilkRoad is a great game and PvP concept is awesome BUT I can't endure the grind. Thats just me though.
I would have to say shell out the money for Guild Wars. On top of it GW is one of the highest rated PC/MMO games in the industry.
If you are into pirates, Voyage Century was pretty fun for being free, though it was still a little grindy.
Almost all other free games are very identical to each other, but you still might find something in another game, just gotta look around.
Shadowbane is free, and the grind is exceptionally minimal. Its based around Free for all PvP though, so watch your step.
Anarchy Online is pretty heavy on the grind in terms of sheer time, but it does manage to make the trip quite fun. Note: only the original version of the game is free, if you want in on the expansions, you then need to fork over a monthly fee.
Isn't it ironic that the only free games I can think of that match the description used to be pay to play? SB is completely free, run off of a sympathetic former devs pocket change. AO went for an ingame advertisement model, which is making them a surprising amount of money.
