Well, I just wasted an evening playing this game.  I was only going to play for a few minutes, but once I started I could not stop.  I always wanted to go just that little bit further.

The humour is great, I love that the arms dealers have Scottish accents (as does the banker ).  Those oversided weapons look great.  actually the whole thing looks great.

It plays really well for a game still in beta, very impressive.

So all in all I think this is a great game, well worth getting a key for.

Welcome and I'm glad you're having fun!  I, too, find that I intend to sit down for a short session but end up playing for hours!  The humor is something that attracts me, too.  I love that the Bank NPC does a Sean Connery impression and that the hermit does Krusty the Clown.

FYI, the game isn't in Beta anymore.  It's in limited-release, but is live.

My favorite bits of humor so far are:

The Ranger Trainer: "I've got an eagle eye... it's in this pocket!"

The Arms Dealers are Hughard, Deward and Louard.

The initial supplier in Dew Valley: "You know those guys... in that town... that all act like they're in the Renaissance? They suck!"

This game is fun and funny. Too bad about the one char/account though. I'm also looking forward to their supposed upcoming 'classless' system.

If we could have at least 2 chars/account, I'd pay the $5/month for membership for sure.

Hehe, the more I hear about this game the more excited I get to play after release day or before, since I lack the referral e-mail. "hint" "hint" lol

Yeah I'm totally digging this game. Been playing A LOT of the free-to-play MMO's and have been very dissapointed, because they all try to mimic the major commercial games and it ends being very dull.

This game, since it's not trying to be anything other than pure fun, stands out enough to where I'm willing to actually play it as often as my primary MMO addiction and not just put it off as a secondary off hand game (My main drug of choice is Guild Wars, for many reasons to be discussed elsewhere.)

I'm excited to see where the next big updates take the game; but for right now I'm happy hacking my way through with axes bigger than my character.

i can't wait to get an invite and play this game... A plain old hack and slash game is just what i've been looking for lately. I think the way it's invite only at the moment is a little strange and frustrating, i'd be happy to go ahead and just pay $5 to buy an account now instead of waiting around for someone to invite me. Either way, this game looks like it'll be a lot of fun once i can actually play.

    ROFLMAO at the 'Fighter' traits...

    Traits:
    • Way of the Roo - You were raised by a semi-domesticated pack of kangaroos that taught you the secret art of Kung Roo. Their teachings have provided you with an innate ability that gives you 25% increased speed with all melee weapons.
    • Health Nut - You have spent more time in the gym than entire sports teams combined. You have the ideal human physique. The downside - you have a hard time reading your name, much less writing it. For every point of Endurance you gain almost 38 Hit Points. The endless focus on your body has deprived your brain of exercise. Every point assigned to Intellect will only give you 9 Mana

haven't finished the D/L and my sides hurt.
