Question on System

nikoliathnikoliath Member UncommonPosts: 1,154
A  simple question,  will the game install and run using a Centrino M770 (2.13ghz)   I ask because the centrinos perfom on better than there core clock rating, and so are the equivilent of a much 'faster' P4.

VSoH needs 2.4ghz intel / AMD equiv. Have I answered my own question, or is it a go'er?

many thanks in advance.

While I can't say specifically it will or won't (i dont have a centrino in my house), I got my roomie's 1.4 sempron to run at about 20 fps. RAM and Video card are a much bigger consideration. Don't listen to all the griping here about performance, it keeps getting better and if your even somewhat knowledgeable about computers you can tweak it or at least find tutorials on how to tweak it.

My experience says laptops, unless really setup to game, do not perform well for gaming.

You might be able to play the game.  But to truly play the game well, you need the Recommended specs and not the Minimum.  Minimum looks awful and the performance is terrible.  So, even if your proc could handle VG, you'd still need 2gigs of RAM and a decent video card (like a 7000 series nVidia).
