Horizon's status compared to others

Asherons call and everquest was a big seller on my account. Then came Anarchy Online! These are all great RPG game's. Horizons is in my mind a diluted version of what a role playing game should be! After playing for 3 month's. I can sum up in 3 words all I did. Craft, Craft, and Craft, finished a set? Go back and do it again. After spending hours and hours on crafting you get worn down. Feel like trying somthing new! You buy some new equipment with the money you just earned. Equip it all and get out there. And notice LAG and its excessive........ Where are the monster's? I have ran all over some part of the game and not found any. The Spawn for monsters are really low. Whene you do find a critter to hunt you kill it then have to wait a long time for it to reapear. This game gets LAmmer and lammer. Combat is all the worse even on high-end machines. Horizons was a waste of $-50.99 USD. Heres my rating's.

Gameplay - 3/10
Combat - 4/10
Tradeskills - 6/10
Lag - 9/10 *(the higher the worse)
Interactivity - 8/10
Entertainment-6/10

Overall - 5 1/2 /10

This is a real sad ratings. But please not this is of my personal experiances with the game. Horizons is expected to lose as much as half of there players by the end of the summer. This game will fall apart eventualy inless they do not do somthing about it. All the quests are on a here to here type basis. Kill this for this. Now morale to the story. I would not Sugest this game to anyone inless you do not get bored very fast.........

The mobs aren't meant to be placed all over the place but instead just in pockets, you need to know where they are and go kill

But we do need more spawns and more variety.

Its usually just the named mobs that dont spawn fast though.

Yeah, the spawn should be raised at all and i don´t want to search for spots generally, i just want to look for "good" spots. Sure it´s nice to walk safe all over the land, but it´s pretty boring.

Generally i agree to carenza´s rating. Even Horizon´s craft-system is one of the best i know so far. Ok, it´s not very realistic to grab hours for some ingredients and after getting the bags full, craft up all those things in a minute or two, but it was still ok. I think the game relys a bit too much to crafting. Especially if you started playing Horinzons while it was released only a few days before, you had to craft to get equipp to lvl up. But i guess this problem should be gone.

Btw, the Horizon-Newsletter is one of the most popping new mails on my account, even i don´t read all and don´t play it anymore, so i coulnd´t "see" all those "new" things, but it´s still a little advantage to other games.

At least you feel, like someone is out there and working on that game. ;-p
