Interplay/Blizzard's attempt to make Lord of the rings back in 1991.

Can we now stop comparing Blizzards games with Turbines.

Ok.

Actually i never played that version.

I played Eye of the beholder I and II back in 1991.

Edit:

Bah that site does not seem to like direct links to their images.

    lol

    1991 ?

The gaming industry for the PC was in its infantile stages then. DirectX wasn't even heard of yet and we still had windows 3.1. Even console games were little toddlers back then.

Its easy to make games now because all the trailblazing has already been done.

its kind of amazing to see how far the industry has come since then.

btw I think WoW and LOTRO are compared because they have very similar traits and setups. But its two different story lines of course ;).

    lol look at my age.

    I know my gamehistory.

I played Pong when my parents bouth the homeversion released back in 1975 or something like that and i played games ever since.

I just got tired of all those comparing WoW and LOTRO and wanted to make a joke :)

If LOTRO reminds of anything it's EQ II and not WoW.
