    but that surgery that was done by remotely witht he doctor in the US and the patient in france is proof video games have helped develop the medical proffession even further.

    That's awesome. Only a matter of time until putting years of video gaming in a resume makes a stronger candidate lol.

    Man I just had a medical school interview, i should have said studies have shown gamers become good surgeons. Then again i'd need to say video games also attributed to my low gpa ;).

    True story, my first semester of College, I didn't play games at all, and had a 2.7 GPA...my second semester of college I re subscribed to World of Warcraft and brought  my ps2 and xbox into the dorm room, my GPA shot up to a 3.2

    Of course, the fact that I went from being a physical therapy major to being an English major probably didn't hurt...seeing as how I hated PT.

    First semester for me with video games (quake 3) = 3.7 gpa and dean's list. 2nd semester with the same games = 3.35 gpa. Third semester with diablo 2 instead of quake 3 = 2.45.

    Next semester 3.0 with diablo 2.

    Junior year no computer = 3.2

    Senior year with some computer (diablo 2 again) = 3.0

    Grad school:

    WoW = 3.2

    No games + some Lineage 2 = 3.45
