WoW+EQ1+EQ2=Vanguard

When i look through the forums i see really  a lot of different comments about the game.

Some love it, some hate it, some like it and some dont know what to think about.

This post is for those, who are thinking about to buy or try it.



I played until now to about lvl 26 and i really must say, Vanguard sucks.

For those already complaining like "Vanguard is Hardcore and if you are not, dont play or if you dont like dont play etc ", suck on my nuts for a few minutes while I explain:



I played about 5 years EQ1, about 3 years EQ2, about 3 months WoW and some other korean grind-shit.



I love(d) EQ1. Grinding, questing, raiding all was perfect.

I liked EQ2. Nice graphics, special combat system....some say it sucks, i do not.

Then WoW. I saw about 50billion people play this game...so it must be really great or humanity was brainwashed.

I played it for about 3 months...why? Because WoW was no challenge, the graphic sucks, the battles are annoying.



So what about Vanguard?



Vanguards offers EQ1 hardcore. Yes indeed, but they mixed something up. So why everybody say VG is like EQ1 and i cant see VG anymore? Why i think the battles are so fucking annoying?

They took the basics of EQ1 (good idea) and mixed it with grind-shitting of korean dump (bad idea Sigil). How you gain levels in VG? Grind Grind Grind. Ok, some grind is necessary for enjoying a game...Since EQ1 was also grinding (not the same wave tho) VG grinding sucks.

Why? Because the battle is EXACTLY, yes, EXACTLY the same like in Wow. (For thos chewing my nuts, just continue)

Really, combat is annoying. If they putted the same combat system of EQ in VG, it would be the greatest game ever. But they didnt.



Thats it, thats all. Thats why VG sucks for me. The world is wonderful, crafting, diplo, everything is perfect, really.

But because of thos WOW-like battles, i cant enjoy it anymore.

i can't really disagree with you because everyone holds their own opinions on each game  and i find anyone who may attack you to be retarded if their game is not that great

 

I played it - I LOVED the diplomacy it had that dabble of innovation in it - everything else to me was boring - Dying and appearing without my gear on and running into a dungeon infested with monsters is no fun - for some reason during my Ultima Online times it was the only time where i did not mind dying because equipment was not so important..it was all the players skill

anyways i wont rant on because i know some people may digg it and for some reason take offense to what im saying - I think what MMOS need is innovation in the combat department right now it's way to checkers
