I've only heard a little about this game. I heard that it's being developed by former Everquest developers. Is this true?

Intresting game because its the brainchild of most of the original EQ developers.
Now how successful it would be depends on EQ2.If the EQ crowd are displeased with EQ2 as the AC community was with AC2 ,rest assured they would have their eyes focused on this game.
You got to remember apart from having 500,000 current accounts ,EQ is estimated to have had over 3 million people play it at one time or the other and an estimate of over 1 million that have played it over 1 year period.
So that leaves a large following espically those that are nostaglic for a "true" EQ sequel. So if EQ2 drops the ball ,vanguard stand a good chance of picking it.

2006? Where did it say that? The screenshots look pretty good, but 2 years from now? By then those will be very outdated. But since it is being developed by the same crew who originally made EQ, it may be something to watch.
