A Desperate Act Of Piracy

Well...after several weeks at sea, and with my crew in a state of mutiny, I became desperate enough to attack a neutral trading ship. After sending the inocent sailors to  Davy Jones' Locker, I've realized that my ship has become an open target for every frigate and port I approach. My question to all ye pirates out there is this:

Are all port closed to me now? I'm still cruising the waters in the starter area, and not sure if I need to start a new character.

        Id recommend going on the VCO forumsfor this one. Im not actually familar with the pirating system. I do know there is a way whiping your slate clean though. Wish I could help you more, I am one of those nuetral merchants hehe.

    You should only be KOS to the nation you attacked. In that case you can still go to other nations ports. You can fix your problem by sneaking into the port of the ship you attacked at night and bribing the Official there to raise your faction with them or you can just attack the Pirates in the area but this is much slower. Go in after 23:00 and just be sure to watch out for the few patrolling guards that may still be out, go to the official and you can up your faction with the city 5 points a bribe. It may cost you a fair amount of silver but you won't be attacked anymore.

    BrenAh, thanks Bren! I couldn't even leave the port area because frigates would chase me down asap. I will look for the offical tonight. Kudos!
