i've heard from several others that its really nothing special. Although it is a quick fun hack'n'slash when playing with friends and it does have is pros. Yet don't expect anything in depth with it. I am still wanting to try it though.

I honestly don't like it. To describe it briefly, it's a hack-and-slash MMORPG with some notable strengths. Particularly, it's free, and it is incredibly easy to find a party (click one button and you're in a party of your level). That said, this is a game made by a very small development, so you can't expect huge production values.
What kills Dungeon Runners for me is the class and skill system. Basically, there is none. Each class has one passive ability. Fighter +25% melee speed. Ranger +25% melee speed. Mage +20% spell damage. Each class also gets different amounts of health and mana per point in their respective stats. Wow. Skills are divided into classes, but this is meaningless. Every class can learn every skill at the exact same level for the exact same cost. If the relevant stat is the same for the two, it'll be exactly the same in power too (passives notwithstanding).
Aside from this, there aren't very many skills (30 totally? I don't remember exactly), half of them are generic buff/resists to specific kinds of elemental damage, and the animations for the rest don't impress me at all. Then again, they're supposedly revamping the whole class/skill system soon, and I imagine they'll be adding more abilities over time.
I found the level design to be passable. It's not great, and it'll probably disappoint you when you first see it, but it's not the kind of game which demands awesome instance surrounded by sweeping vistas ala Guild Wars.
The best way I can think of to sum up this game is to call it a hack-and-slash with combat that feels like Dungeon Siege and a very heavy focus on itemization. Also, all items have a level requirement, but there's no kind of requirement other than level.
I just tried it out and uninstalled it right away. The lag was incredible. I figured out that the right button was attack. The lag was simply astounding.
