Dropping NDA

Has there been any official word on when they plan do this? As nice as it is to hear how people enjoy this game over and over, what I really want to hear is why. I hope they don't pull what SWG did and wait til the last moment to drop it as it looks more like thier trying to hide problems by doing so.

    It is only a couple of weeks until the retail game is released, just see what the reviewers and players have to say then.

    There is no point in dropping the NDA till the game is in its final form, that doesn't mean that there are huge problems, but they are still tweaking missions and powers, like doing what Beta is for..... They don't want people to come out and say 'you can do such and such' and then for it to be changed anyway, people seem to think that cos they let the pre-orders in it is a finished game, and the pre-orders are just being allowed to play early.  Have some patience.   If there were huge problems being hidden so many beta testers would not be saying how great it was.

    Aura was qouted saying that it will probably be sometime this week right before the public beta starts on the 14th.
    Public beta as in open or just those that have pre-ordered? I honestly wasn't too high on this game since it really doesn't seem to have much staying power. It seems like it'll be fun for a month or so but the content doesn't seem to be there from what little has been said by beta players. I'd like to try it out personally as I could use a MMORPG fix since FFXI has lost my interest. If it's as fun as people seem to say it is I'd probably give it a shot in the end.
