Access to the Open Beta?

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere already, but here goes:
I pre-ordered LOTRO from gamestop.com and I was wondering if we get access to open beta, does that mean the game gets shipped to us by March 30th... or do we download from a client and install that way? Thx for any info and clarification.

I think I saw a note on that page that they email beta info on thursdays.
I'm in Canada and not sure about pre-ordering from here.. bestbuy.ca has nothing on the game and the other sites are showing shipping prices that are a bit steep.
My question is will we have our key before the box gets here or will we be stuck between April 24th and the day the box arrives in the mail?
