IMO change the background, it makes it look like a freakin crappy myspace or something.  other than that its a good start.

ya i changed it..but i havent found the one i really like yet to fit it....

If you can make it where the background is just one picture, and the rest of the page moves but the background stays i would keep with pictures.  If not, just make it a solid background.  Its a bit more boring but looks a lot more professional if you ask me.  I am just not a fan of the tiled pics.  but it is a good picture

One thing is for certain..i havent decided if i really like our banner...but its temporary till i come up with a better design!
