Yes it would run but your 512 Mb ram in your system and your Radeon 9600 with 64 MB ram would make it a not so pleasant experience in the long run.

I'm playing on a similar system but desktop and i have 1 gb ram and radeon 9800 Pro with 128 Mb ram and i have to play with most setting on low and still i lag a lot when i get into Breetown.

Buying a new PC when the game release so i can play in best settings.

Not sure but this week CVG is handing out a new batch of EU betatests so you might want to try and get your hand on one of those.

Then you can see in beta if it can run playble on your system.

Not sure which day they are handing them out.

Last week it was over a few days.

Memory is easily upgraded in most laptops. Notebook RAM just costs more. As for your video card, the only way to do that is to send it back to the manufacturer, or have a laptop-repair skilled friend or person do it for you. It is also very hard to find laptop video cards by themself.

    Currently: Playing EVE Online
Previous: FFXI, Dragonrealms, sad little stint in WOWland.
Awaiting: Fallen Earth, Hero''s Journey, Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think upgrading the ram may be the way to go.

Whatever you do please test Drive the Game. Laptop Memory is very expencive. When you start the game please go to the advanced grafix section and disable Video post effects, triple buffer, Distant imposters ,Shadows and everything else that consumes much grafix memory.

Hovering your mouse above any option will give you a brief description of what it does. Also note that in low settings The animation detail is set to low by the system. Turn this to high settings to ensure that you will at least see smooth movement of monsters and npcs. Many people that complain about animation should set this setting to be as high as possible.

Also you must limit the frames of Lotro. There is an option in another tab which allows you to limit the frames per second and also the speed of your modem to ensure minimal lag.

I think i have an unused US key (I am at work now and i cant be sure). If you want i can look for it and send it to you.
