..and customer support wasn't really helpful either.
I'd love to hear how to make this work if anyone has any ideas.
Basically I download through gametap, hit play ...it opens up, pretends like its going to check for updates and then takes me to a login screen where it says "Missing Parameter". I close that, login, it goes back into gametap and says "Error accessing game files, please contact customer service."
Customer service says uninstall and redownload, that I have a corrupt download. Ok. I do this. Same problem.
Customer service says they can't help me because unless I purchase the 'full' version of gametap they cannot use their diagnostic software, and I cant "redownload the game" from within gametap. Though redownloading the game proved rather fruitless, as it still wouldn't run.
I had this same issue trying to play the beta, long ago, pre-gametap. Anyone know a workaround for this ? Its a long shot since, you know, their customer service has no idea (told me "one moment" and left me there for 10 minutes before saying that there was nothing more they could do.) But I'd love any suggestions, have been wanting to mess with this since I first heard about it.

I don't have much experience dealing with gametap though, I have the full version and have no problems other than the previously mentioned issue and some firewall issues.
Let me know if I can offer any more insight.
