    LotR = A game

VG = A job which YOU pay for

and don't tell me that VSoH requires more brainpower or skill than other games, you are lying to everyone including yourself, it requires no life and no common sense.

Some people must be really bad mmorpg players to consider a mmorpg a job  To be able to enjoy games like VSoH you actualy are required to have a good life else you will never enjoy a game and will always be a grinder of games. I think its the lack of real life achievements wich prevent some people from enjoying games and because of that they vent it out on the games they dis-like. Try a real job for a chance and then think again if a game feels like a job, if it does then simply quit the game. People with common sence would never for starters consider a mmorpg anything like a job.

Yep it is subjective.  I wouldnt call LOTRO a mishy mash grindfest ;) It is more like a those old school arcade game, throw a coin into it and have 5 minutes of stream-lined fun.

I do agree with you that VAnguard has  meaningful quests, deep lore and immersiveness ;)

    lol!!!

Vanguard does not feel like a game, that was my point....games are supposed to be fun

I already quit that dirty bug filled grind of a game, too bad they still have my money

    Currently Playing: Everything but MMORPGs
Cancelled: L2, FFXI, VSoH, LotRO, WAR, WoW
    Looking Forward To: SW:TOR

Hrmm...now that you mention it my lvl 23 char in VG gets about as much grind time as did my lvl 60 WoW Warlock to get his tier 2 set...

Its kind of turning me off from the game I am really trying to like.

I agree completely agree with TS, i play Vangaurd and found that i just had to put to much time into to get anywhere, it has a nice concept but just involves to much of your life, i personally have other hobbies to do after work, with LOTR i could log on for a hour or two and get something done, and log of and go play sports, it feels like game not a race to the max level, just my two cents.

God, you are so friggin angry about your bad experience. Shut up, get over it, and continue playing what you like because right now you are just really annoying. Stop trolling the forums of a game you hate and like whatever the hell it is that you like.

Yep, just cancelled my Vanguard sub. Had such high hopes for it. But, lack of community and GMs are never around.

Getting tired of crashing to the desktop while simply running along. I usually end up logging into LOTR Online beta, which is sad I paid for Vanguard but I find myself playing LOTR Online beta 80% of the time.

Couple of days ago I died and couldn't find my tombstone even though the map showed I was standing right ontop of it, did
/targetmynearestcorpse but nothing. Petitioned a GM and all I got back was sorry it took so long to get back to you, but if you still can't find your corpse petition again...ummm thank you so much that solved everything.

Anyone else notice there's like a million WoW fansites, but I'm finding it pretty difficult to find even 1 vanguard fansite.

Yeah I guess your are right, I am angry, it is how I feel, if I want to express that then I will, your in the minority in my opinion, I hope I have at least gave some insight to people that are interested in the game, if you don't like my posts use the block button, simple
